BBC Magazines is the UK’s third biggest consumer magazine publisher selling almost 100 million copies every year. Match of the Day magazine is looking for a talented Sub Editor to join the team.
Based within the magazines production team you’ll sub, proof and trim copy to set deadlines, ensuring BBC standards and procedures are met, and maintaining Match of the Day house style. In addition to working across the editorial pages, you’ll occasionally work on extra material such as supplements, picture research or attend magazine events as a representative of the editorial team, when appropriate.
You’ll already have a passion for football and sound knowledge of the subject and will ideally already have worked on a children’s magazine, with relevant experience of subbing.
