Had time to catch breath yet this summer, what with the FIFA World Cup, our busy men and women cricketers, Lewis Hamilton’s duel with Sebastian Vettel, Chris Froome winning the Giro d’Italia, Geraint Thomas taking the Tour de France title, Adam Peaty…and still to come the Ryder Cup, the women’s U20 World Cup (football), Athony Joshua defending his world heavyweight title again, and so on. Let’s not forget, either, Lizzie Yarnold’s Olympic gold medal in the skeleton.
It may be a tad too soon to be thinking about Sportsman, Sportswoman and Sports Team of the Year but it’s definitely time to start thinking about booking a date in your diary for our annual SJA British Sports Awards 2018, in association with the National Lottery.
The lunch-time event is on Thursday, December 6 at the Pavilion at the Tower of London, one of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, and we are delighted to be able to peg prices for the gala occasion.
Tickets prices are heavily discounted for members of the SJA and price includes three-course lunch, unlimited house wine, bottled beer and soft drinks.
