Jotischky to join Sunday Telegraph as deputy

Tim Jotischky, head of sport at the Daily Mail, is to join the Sunday Telegraph as deputy editor.

In an email to staff, Sunday Telegraph editor Ian MacGregor said, “Tim is one of the best journalists I have met and will be a fantastic addition to the team as both the paper and website go from strength to strength.

“Tim will bring lots of experience and fresh ideas, and I know he is very much looking forward to meeting you all.”

Jotischky previously worked as editor of the Scottish Daily Mail and Metro newspapers as well as being foreign editor and executive news editor of the Mail. He replaces Dan Roberts, who left to join the Guardian as head of business.

Lee Clayton remains as sports editor at the Daily Mail.
