Press conference: ICC Champions Trophy, Oct 17

From the ICC

The ICC Champions Trophy is being staged in England and Wales next summer, from June 6 to 23, with matches at Cardiff, The Oval and Edgbaston.

The one-day international tournament features the top eight nations, based on ICC rankings, and will see each venue stage five matches leading to the Edgbaston final on June 23.

The ICC is staging a media launch next Wednesday, October 17.

Present will be:
ICC Chief Executive – David Richardson,
ICC CT 2013 Tournament Director – Steve Elworthy
England captain – Alastair Cook

Format:
Press conference hosted by Nasser Hussain, questions from the floor, then interviews (upon request)

Topics:
Tournament preview, information on ticket on-sale date and pricing, confirmation of venues and fixtures

When:
Wednesday 17 October 2012. 14.30 arrival for 15.00 prompt start. Film crews invited to set up from 14.00
