Tommy Hindley receives prestigious tennis media award

SJA member Tommy Hindley, of Professional Sport, has received a prestigious Tennis Europe award for long and outstanding contribution to tennis’s media coverage.

Derek Howorth, the president of the Lawn Tennis Association, nominated Hindley in recognition of his contribution to tennis photography worldwide.

Hindley began his professional sports photography career in 1977. He has photographed sports events worldwide, from local grassroots to the Olympic Games since 1980.

His photography has been nominated numerous times for awards in many competitions, and he has won accolades both nationally and internationally.
