The staff at Getty Images have been totally overwhelmed by the many thoughtful messages that we have received since our friend and colleague Jamie McDonald passed away two months ago.
There will be a thanksgiving service for Jamie at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street in London at 11.30am on Tuesday December 1. Arrivals will be from 11am.
We will then gather for an informal reception in the Johnson and Williams rooms of Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, 145 Fleet Street, London EC4A 2BU.
The day will be a celebration of Jamie’s life rather than a sombre occasion. Therefore, please don’t feel obliged to wear black. We would be very grateful if you could let us know if you are planning to attend by RSVP to steve.rose@gettyimages.com, ideally by November 24.
