Cricket writer de Lisle discovers Intelligent Life

Tim de Lisle has been named as editor of the Economist‘s quarterly Intelligent Life magazine.

Cricket writer de Lisle, a former editor of Wisden Cricket Monthly, replaces Edward Carr, who has been appointed as the editorial director of Intelligent Life, in addition to his role as the business affairs editor of the Economist.

De Lisle has been deputy editor of the magazine since its redesign in September 2007. Previously has also been a sports columnist for The Times and a feature writer for the Telegraph and the Guardian.
