The SJA works together with:

International bodies

The Sports Journalists' Association is the only organisation in Britain that is recognised by the world and the European sports journalism bodies, AIPS and UEPS respectively.

Membership of AIPS, and with it the internationally recognised press card, can only be obtained by fully paid-up members of the SJA.

If you have a current AIPS card and your details are unchanged, all you need to do is send Bill Colwill a cheque, payable to SJA, for £25 together with your 2006-2007 AIPS card number. If your details have changed, then please click here to print off an application form, which you should complete with the new information and return with your cheque.

A new photograph (preferably sent electronically please to BColwill@aol.com) is only required if there is a significant change to the photo on your current card.

If you are requesting a card for the first time, please complete the form and send to Bill Colwill direct along with photograph and cheque. AIPS will not deal direct with members.

Cards can only be requested for fully paid up SJA members.
