The application process for written press, photographers and non-rights holding television and radio representatives is now open.

The online forms are available via the Rugby World Cup media operations web page at www.rugbyworldcup.com/media/operations.

When applying, you will be required to upload a passport style photo, provide passport or UK driver’s licence details and supply personal and organisation contact details.

Applications close at midnight (British Summer Time) on April 30, 2015. Approvals will start to be made prior to this date so the earlier you apply, the sooner you will be notified if you have been successful.

The application also includes your requests for pool stage match tickets as this will be required (alongside your accreditation) to enter a venue on a match day. Applicants who are successful in the accreditation process will be notified of their match allocations from May 2015 onwards.

Requests for knock-out matches will be taken once the qualifying team are known.

Press accommodation and transport
All accredited media will be sent email confirmation containing a link to the accommodation booking website. It will operate like a regular booking site where you can view the room, rates and benefits before making payment and receiving confirmation.

Rates start from £99 (including VAT) per night and will include breakfast, internet access and access to an exclusive Rugby World Cup 2015 work room. A free shuttle bus service will operate between these hotels and their respective venues on match days (with the exception of London where the shuttle service will run between Richmond station and Twickenham Stadium only).

Accredited press who are not staying at the hotels may also use this service.
